Abstract

This project examines learning environments across various institutions, including research universities, Hispanic-serving institutions, branch campuses, state universities, and small regional colleges, focusing on those with high Native student enrollment. It explores the dynamic institutional architecture and support systems for Native students, aiming to analyze higher education institutions' engagement with these students. The research delves into establishing comprehensive educational opportunities and understanding Indigenous learning experiences within often unfamiliar educational settings. The goal is to promote equitable educational reform by guiding institutions in evaluating their programs and procedures to create more inclusive learning environments for Native students.
