Abstract

The tension between theoretical understanding and practical application is a longstanding challenge in academia, particularly in the realms of ethics and inclusivity. This paper delves into this issue by presenting three illustrative anecdotes and employing the Garden Heart model to highlight the essential components and processes required for effective praxis. Our discussion is grounded in the insights from our chapter in a recently published book (Authors, 2024) which emphasizes the need for a continuous interaction between theory and practice.
