Abstract

Responding to the 2025 AERA call to engage in research, remedy and repair to move towards just educational renewal, we present the insights from a teacher inquiry group designed to support the professional development of English language teachers to design and implement social justice-oriented curriculum through critical pedagogy in Nepal. By positioning teachers as transformative intellectuals and agents of social change, this paper continues the growing body of research that centers historically marginalized communities in education.
