Sun, April 27, 9:50 to 11:20am MDT (9:50 to 11:20am MDT), The Colorado Convention Center, Floor: Exhibit Hall Level, Exhibit Hall F - Poster Session

Abstract

This study explores the development of a global curriculum to enhance vaccine manufacturing in developing countries post-pandemic. Employing participatory design, a two-week training program was created, emphasizing a module-based curriculum, instructor workshops, and educational technology use. The participatory design approach was emphasized in the workshops, involving stakeholders in curriculum development to meet local needs. Evaluations through observations, surveys, and interviews indicated high satisfaction with the content and methods. The study highlights the importance of participatory design and module-based approaches in fostering instructors' pedagogical skills in global training programs.
