This study aims to identify structural and institutional factors contributing to disparities in higher education attainment of Latina/o/x students in higher education. Specifically, it investigates the transfer rates of Latina/o/x and White students from eight community colleges in California using a QuantCrit framework. By employing advanced statistical analyses, including Hierarchical Linear Models (HLM) and ANOVA. Key findings reveal significant racial disparities, with Latina/o/x students experiencing lower transfer rates compared to their White counterparts. The study's significance lies in its potential to inform policy and practice. The findings underscore the necessity for systemic changes to ensure equitable educational opportunities, ultimately aiming “toward just educational renewal” of Latina/o/x students in higher education.
