Abstract

Online learning platforms have significantly transformed STEM education, with platforms like ASSISTments playing a crucial role in mathematics instruction.A/B testing, as an experimental method for comparing the effectiveness of different versions, has been widely used to optimize online learning materials. However, the large-scale implementation of A/B testing faces challenges related to resource consumption and management.ACT offer a method for dynamically adjusting trial designs based on accumulated data, providing greater efficiency and ethical advantages. This paper explores the potential of integrating ACT methodologies into A/B testing for STEM education resources. By applying ACT principles, researchers can conduct experiments more flexibly and cost-effectively.This paper provides a detailed discussion of the core components of ACT, demonstrates how to use the rpact to implement ACT-guided A/B testing
