Fri, April 25, 3:20 to 4:50pm MDT (3:20 to 4:50pm MDT), The Colorado Convention Center, Floor: Exhibit Hall Level, Exhibit Hall F - Poster Session

Abstract

This study investigated the relationships between self-efficacy, wellbeing, and demographic factors among 34 preservice early childhood teachers in the northern U.S., using the PROMIS Global Health and Bandura's self-efficacy scales. Results showed significant associations, highlighting how demographic and educational backgrounds impact self-efficacy and wellbeing. The study focuses on efficacy in parent involvement, community involvement, and creating a positive school climate. These insights can help teacher education programs enhance the success and wellbeing of early childhood educators.
