Abstract

This paper delves into the intersection of feminist narratives and culinary traditions through a cross-cultural lens. It explores how food acts as both a boundary and a bridge, highlighting the ways in which diverse gastronomies can challenge societal norms while fostering solidarity and understanding. Utilizing a 12-course meal format, the paper weaves personal anecdotes with critical feminist theory to examine themes such as migration, identity, and resilience. By foregrounding stories of women navigating transnational spaces, the chapter offers a multi-layered analysis of food’s role in shaping and transforming cultural and feminist narratives.
