Dr. Venzant-Chambers will provide insights regarding the successes and challenges in developing a sole authored book proposal. Dr. Venzant- Chambers' book shares stories and experiences of academically successful students who navigate the field of education in challenging contexts. She will also share how her research centers on understanding challenges of inequitable educational opportunities for high achieving Blacks.
