Abstract

Dr. O’Malley will share insights from his own trajectory as a tenure-track faculty to Dean of the College of Education at Texas State University. Challenges and success faced along this path will be explored. Dr. O'Malley served as Associate Director of Publications for the University Council for Educational Administration and received the 2023 Texas Council of Deans of Education Outstanding Leadership Award and was a 2023-2024 Fellow in the national Deans for Impact Academy.
