Abstract

Using the work of The BLESS Collective, a NYC-based RPP, as exemplar, Dr. Forbes will explore non-traditional approaches that highlight the importance of partnership and center Blackness beyond diversity rhetoric. Additionally, it will address the challenges that arise when alternative research methods conflict with traditional research methods and provide practical strategies for pursuing collaborative work.
