Abstract

The Rural Teacher Support Policy is a flagship initiative by the Chinese government to bridge regional educational disparities and achieve equity. This study, taking J County as an example, conducted in-depth interviews with 67 policy target groups including education bureau directors, school principals, and teachers, and distributed 1,200 questionnaires. By adopting a mixed-methods research paradigm, it analyzed the implementation effects of the policy. This research contributes to understanding the current status, experiences, and issues of China's education-based poverty alleviation policies, providing references for addressing educational equity challenges.
