Sun, April 27, 11:40am to 1:10pm MDT (11:40am to 1:10pm MDT), The Colorado Convention Center, Floor: Ballroom Level, Mile High Ballroom 2A and 3A

Abstract

The main focus of this study will be on how Chinese college queer student organizers interact with their peers and the colleges they attend on and around college campuses. Student activism is unorthodox, and the study examines how it affects sexuality and gender discussions. It also recognizes the importance of college campuses and the community in student involvement. By looking at the change from Western to Chinese settings, we can see how cultural and social factors affect college student activism in China.
