Abstract

Recent federal and state investment in advanced manufacturing in Kentucky has led to an increase in demand for more skilled labor, particularly in rural communities around the state. Traditionally, the two year community college system has been seen as the center of workforce development. This project seeks to understand how community colleges respond to changes in local workforce demand.
