Wed, April 23, 12:40 to 2:10pm MDT (12:40 to 2:10pm MDT), The Colorado Convention Center, Floor: Ballroom Level, Mile High Ballroom 2A and 3A

Abstract

This systematic review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the use of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) as interventions in educational assessment and learning. By examining the variables measured, the methodologies employed, and the characteristics of participants in existing studies, we seek to evaluate the effectiveness of AR/VR technologies in education. The goal is to explore what has already been accomplished in this field and identify potential areas for future research and practice, hoping that one day in the future, immersive technologies in education will be as common as other advanced tech like smartphones and computers.
