Thu, April 24, 1:45 to 3:15pm MDT (1:45 to 3:15pm MDT), The Colorado Convention Center, Floor: Ballroom Level, Mile High Ballroom 2A and 3A

Abstract

In response to the growing need for inclusive pedagogy (IP) in higher education, this study systematically reviews instruments measuring faculty knowledge, skills, and attitudes toward IP. By reviewing 79 empirical studies, this paper evaluates the instruments available to assess faculty competencies in IP, focusing on constructs, context, and psychometric strength. This study is grounded in Morina's (2021) framework of IP, and will generate an inventory of IP measurement tools, highlighting their strengths and gaps that still exist. This work provides essential resources for faculty developers and researchers, facilitating evidence-based practices and interventions to continue the use of inclusive teaching in higher education.
