Abstract

This research examines faculty professional training and curriculum development. It focuses on the increasing attention to the preparedness of teacher educators and highlights the critical role of continuous professional development. The lens of a community of practice is a guiding framework for faculty development in teaching computer science (CS) to elementary preservice teachers. The findings provide insights into expanding CS education within elementary teacher preparation programs and advancing faculty development.
