Abstract

This study aims to explore how video tutorials and student-led video creation can facilitate project-based inquiry and enhance science competencies among under-resourced high schools in Taiwan. Qualitative case study has been adopted in this study to examine highschool students’ project-based inquiry science learning experiences from an informal physics learning program. 282 high school students’ video creations about their explanatory experiments and monthly learning journals will be analyzed. Content analysis and constant comparative methods will be used to review participants’ learning performances. The anticipated progress will present primary analysis on students’ perceived science competencies.
