Abstract

This project explores how Black, Latin*, and APIDA-centered, multi-knowledge approaches and interpretive data perspectives can inform equity and justice-oriented deeper learning pedagogy. By integrating qualitative and quantitative methods, the study examines the intersections of racialized experiences, experienced educational practices, and political education. Preliminary findings highlight the importance of centering historically underrepresented voices and leveraging mixed-method data to deepen understanding and inform actionable changes in pedagogy and policy. This approach aims to empower educators and institutions to foster inclusive and equitable learning environments that advance political education and social justice.
