Abstract

Creativity is vital for children's school readiness, helping them adapt and thrive in educational settings. This study used structural equation modeling (SEM) to explore family and social ecosystems, such as parental involvement and socioeconomic status (SES), on children's creativity and school readiness. Results indicate that family and social ecosystems significantly predict children's creativity, including parental involvement, parents' relationships, SES, neighbourhood safety, and social support. Multi-group SEM analysis indicated that family and social environment are significant predictors of children's learning creativity development in Hispanic learners, learners from non-English speaking families, and low-income families.
