Wed, April 23, 2:30 to 4:00pm MDT (2:30 to 4:00pm MDT), The Colorado Convention Center, Floor: Exhibit Hall Level, Exhibit Hall F - Stage 2

Abstract

The purpose of this systematic review is to delineate the main characteristics of the scientific literature pertaining to HyFlex learning in graduate education. Researchers searched five databases following updated PRISMA guidelines and initially identified 1,543 articles. After a multi-level review, 28 articles met all criteria for inclusion in peer-reviewed journals. The findings indicated that publications on graduate HyFlex instruction are increasing, spanning various disciplines and methodologies, mostly with smaller sample sizes. A variety of variables were explored in the journal articles included. The outcomes of the research, identified gaps, and future research recommendations will be discussed in detail during the presentation.
