Session Type: Symposium
International partners share a unique story about a Ukraine–US university partnership that is thriving in war times. The educational research topic for discussion from varying perspectives concerns a formal partnership that advances international studies and a humanitarian commitment through joint programming in a highly chaotic, uncertain, and violent global context. Faculty from the US partner university will convey perspectives on, and experiences of, the 2-year initiative. Four presenters describe topics associated with this crisis leadership situation ranging from partnership development to research contributions and activities. The chair/discussant will respond to the interinstitutional partnership and stimulate exchanges around international partnerships. Aligned with the AERA theme, this symposium session at the International Studies SIG promotes humanity through solidarity and education renewal.
