The editors and some of the contributing authors will offer insights from their new book, Advancing School-University Partnerships and Professional Development Schools through National Research. This book offers useful and powerful research and scholarship paradigms for Professional Development Schools (PDSs) and similar School-University Partnerships (SUPs). Stakeholders are empowered to leverage the transformative benefits of PDSs-SUPs to build a future where social justice, equity, and inclusivity prevail in education. We will share a brief history for this book with chapter summaries, themes, and calls to action. These themes include Laying the Foundation, Advancing Social Justice and Equity, and Building Collaboration.
