Session Type: Symposium
This symposium highlights the lived experiences of diverse female doctoral candidates in a peer mentorship group as a response to countering institutional isolation. Through an intentional commitment to live by the CPED Framework (The Carnegie Project of the Education Doctorate) design in mentoring, the group evidences the goals of responsive mentoring, dynamic learning and creating supporting and safe learning environments for doctoral students. This symposium illuminates on their intellectual growth and psychosocial support for one another leading to their scholarly development and meeting key doctoral milestones
