Our vision of an equity-centered school leader is one who cultivates prosperity and liberation for students and staff, particularly those from historically marginalized populations, by increasing access and inclusion, building trusting relationships, removing barriers, and creating a shared culture of accountability. In this session, we share how we’ve approached the development of equity-centered leaders for all of our 550 principals and assistant principals in the District and what we’ve learned about reimagining professional learning and coaching in the process.
