Session Type: Roundtable Session
We propose a symposium exploring networked continuous improvement (CI) across a sample of 25 networks involved in the ongoing Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Networks for School Improvement (NSI) initiative. These papers discuss strategies used by intermediaries and school staff and the impact of NSI for students. In addition, we include a deep dive analysis of how coaches guided school CI teams in using and responding to data. Our discussants —two well-known scholars who have done extensive research on CI—will provide commentary and situate our findings in the broader discussion on improvement research, following by interactive audience discussion.
