Abstract

This session encourages cross-“generational” dialogue within the LSP SIG. The workshop will begin with a 45-minute panel featuring mid-career and senior scholars of language and social processes. Following the panel, a 45-minute paired mentoring session will occur. Here, graduate students and early-career scholars will each discuss a manuscript with a senior LSP scholar-mentor with whom they have been matched in advance of the conference based on their scholarly interests and expertise.
