Session Type: Symposium
This session investigates teacher well-being from an international perspective, emphasizing its significance for educators' quality of life and professional performance. As a main objective, the symposium examines how contextual factors influence teacher well-being across different career stages and educational environments. The session features four papers: the first explores growth mindset as a predictor of well-being in pre-service teachers, while the others focus on in-service teachers. These include studies on daily hassles and uplifts, large-scale data from PISA, and burnout's impact on instructional decisions. By addressing diverse populations and contexts, this session aims to enhance understanding of how various factors contribute to or mitigate teacher well-being, potentially providing insights for targeted interventions to support teachers globally.
