Participants will engage with each other to develop a shared understanding of the balance between standards and creativity in capstone projects for diverse Master of Education in Health Professions (MEHP) students and identify gaps in the research related to this important educational activity. Programs that offer an MEHP are increasing globally. As of 2019, approximately 68% of these programs include a capstone project. (Tekian, Dekhyter, &Park, 2023) Little is known about the standards, criteria, and dissemination of capstone projects that are meaningful to the individual and the community. Scholarly standards must be interpreted to address student and contextual variables.
