Session Type: Symposium
The digitally enhanced landscape in which learning takes place nowadays has shaped and driven wider changes in assessment and feedback practices. From this perspective, the notion of teacher assessment literacy, which generally denotes what teachers, students, school or university administrators need for sound and effective assessment, has been paralleled by other concepts such as feedback, data, and digital literacy. However, the investigation of technology-enhanced assessment and feedback practices requires a clear understanding of teacher assessment, feedback, data, and digital literacy, as well as a disentanglement of these concepts.
Identifying which scholarly knowledge exists, the six papers presented in the symposium will provide rigorous reviews that carefully and systematically search the literature, and critically orient future educational research and practice.
