Improv for Climate Justice and Communication in Education

Abstract

Using embodied activities in an improv workshop as a way to proactively communicate the issues of climate change, including climate justice and reducing climate anxiety among young people in education. Promoting laughter, vitality, energy-sharing, and connecting with the body in order to better understand how an improvisational ethos can contribute to student engagement and a reduction in climate anxiety.
