Session Type: Structured Poster Session
This structured poster session offers ten posters, representing selected chapters from The International Handbook of Research in Digital Literacies (Routledge, 2025). This collection of posters focuses on work that expands literacies theory and practice by considering how digital literacies engender and support boundary crossing, bridging literacy and digital literacies research and practice. The chapters expand the notion of literacies by connecting work across different boundaries, including different digital ecosystems, countries, cultures, language groups, teacher/learner/researcher roles, and different learning contexts, texts, activities, and practices within and beyond school. Attendees will have the opportunity to actively consider changing contexts of literacies, to engage in discussion with poster authors, and to participate in critical, collaborative discussion emerging from the poster viewings.
