This symposium presents research on innovative approaches to science education, focusing on promoting equity and inclusivity in the classroom. Authors will focus on barriers to access and participation in science education for multilingual learners and students with disabilities across their school journey. Through conceptual work and findings from empirical research, the panel aims to provide actionable insights and practical solutions to support just science education renewal in teacher preparation programs.
