This panel investigates the intersections of AI and other digital technologies with the politics of education and the need to rethink critical pedagogy in time of computational capitalism. The papers all address questions of the human, dehumanization, power, and politics of education in an age where AI and algorithms assault consciousness, erode memory, and fuel crises of war, alienation, dispossession, fascism, and ecological chaos.
