In today's ever-evolving educational landscape, ensuring the quality of classroom interactions is pivotal to fostering student success. The Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) 2nd Edition, build upon its predecessor, a leading tool for measuring classroom environments and teacher-student interactions. This session offers an in-depth examination of the CLASS 2nd Edition revisions through the lenses of equity and continuous improvement. With a focus on reliability and validity, the session will provide findings from three studies to demonstrate that CLASS 2nd Edition delivers consistent and accurate assessments across diverse educational settings. Presenters will share findings demonstrating the tool’s reliability across classroom contexts. Implications of findings will be considered from a research, practice, and policy lens to drive continuous quality improvement.
