Session Type: Symposium
Our symposium seeks to present 5 unique narratives of Muslim women navigating doctoral education research. Their work demonstrates that existing research on women's experiences in academic fails to address the unique intersections of gender and faith identities. They each discuss how their faith identities motivate their commitments to community-engaged research. And they analyze how gender based bias and anti-Muslim racism shape their education research experiences.
