Session Type: Structured Poster Session
This structured poster session is composed of scholars from across the United States who draw on civic literacy frameworks in support of K12 students who are working to create and inherit a more socially just world. Engaging methodologies such as youth participatory action research, autoethnography, and discourse analysis, these poster presentations offer insights into the possibilities that are afforded from civic literacy development. Each poster in this session examines an aspect of schooling that creates pathways for scholars and learners to move beyond the traditional boundaries of curriculum and instruction and envision new ways of affecting change in the world.
