Abstract

This workshop aims to enhance the connection between education research and policy. It focuses on making research more actionable by promoting collaboration among researchers, educators, and policymakers. The workshop highlights the importance of understanding the policy landscape and effectively communicating research findings to influence policy decisions. Key objectives include identifying policy stakeholders, understanding policy interpretation, and developing specific policy recommendations. Participants will engage in interactive sessions to apply these concepts to their own research. Emphasis is placed on building networks and fostering collaborations to ensure that research is relevant and impactful in shaping educational policies. The goal is to equip researchers with strategies to bridge the gap between research and practical policy implementation.
