Session Type: Structured Poster Session
This structured poster session explores key aspects of standardized assessments across diverse
global contexts, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, the USA, and
International Large-Scale Assessments (ILSAs). It focuses on four central themes: the digital
transformation of assessments, equity implications, the role of assessments in driving educational
improvement and policy reform, and the technical aspects of assessment methodology. Attendees
will gain insights into cutting-edge innovations, critical equity issues, and psychometrics as well as
practical challenges, while learning from a wide range of large-scale assessment practices. The
session offers an opportunity for researchers to engage in meaningful discussions and network with
peers, with the support of the international relations committee of Division H.
