Session Type: Symposium
The Statewide Longitudinal Data Systems (SLDS) State Support Team, consisting of state representatives, shares work on SLDS data, equity, decision-making, research, and dashboards. A few states will present projects using SLDS resources to explore equity issues in education and workforce systems. This interactive session includes reports like the Early Childhood Profile, offering insights into kindergarten readiness, enrollment, and quality ratings. Dashboards with disaggregated data enable analysis by race, gender, special education, homelessness, foster care, and geography. Over a dozen agencies use these insights to discuss equity and develop interventions targeting disparities in access, opportunity, and outcomes.
