Abstract

This group of presentations addresses the critical themes of equity, inclusion, and community impact in the context of educational technology. These sessions highlight the importance of fostering equitable learning environments that account for diverse student backgrounds and needs. Presentations will critique the role of AI in education, investigate the challenges and opportunities faced by specific communities, and explore issues in CS education. Through a combination of theoretical frameworks and practical case studies, this collection emphasizes the necessity of community engagement and ethical considerations in the deployment of technology in education, ultimately striving for a more just and inclusive educational landscape.
