Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
Traditional hierarchies and academic silos obstruct the open sharing of professional knowledge, often leaving us to navigate our educational institutions in isolation. We hope to disrupt and reimagine traditional and linear models of knowledge dissemination through intentionally structured and collaborative conversations that build knowledge, community, and resiliency. This session will create circles of sharing in hopes of repairing, building, laughing, healing, and learning together. Facilitators will share how they have strategized and mobilized for social justice work across their varying work environments. Session participants will be invited to contribute to the discussion by sharing their own experiences in doing justice-oriented work for education repair and renewal. The purpose of this session is to co-construct a supportive, safe, dialogic space for educational leaders and early-career leadership faculty.
