Abstract
This session explores common challenges and evolving teacher and school leadership needs. Papers will discuss how perceived role ambiguity and self-efficacy influence teachers' reluctance to pursue leadership, factors shaping teacher leadership practices, principal retention strategies, and the changing nature of school leadership post-pandemic. By examining leadership prototypes, shared leadership models, and preparation programs, this session offers insights into fostering leadership efficacy, reducing anxiety, and adapting leadership preparation to meet modern educational demands.
