Abstract

Welcoming everyone (instructors, researchers, and students) who has an interest in how we teach and/or learn about research methods. The TLRM SIG officers will share updates and reports about how the sessions are going and who our new officers will be in 2025-26.

This business meeting will include a group discussion that will focus on strategies to improve the quality of teaching and learning research methods, with an emphasis on addressing the persistent gap between conceptual understanding and practical application. Educators and scholars of research methodology often face the challenge of ensuring that students not only grasp theoretical concepts but are also equipped to apply these concepts in real-world research scenarios.
