Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
The future of educational research is being shaped by integrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives alongside the rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This session will explore key opportunities and challenges of conducting DEI education research across different states and school districts. Presenters will consider how co-design and partnerships with local community organizations can help support research involving politically sensitive topics. The session will also focus on the opportunities presented by the use of AI in education to enhance educational equity and inclusivity, as well as the challenges of inherent bias and ethical considerations.
