The papers in this session explore how various improvement research approaches unfold in practice. Across various contexts, the authors of these papers find that improvement approaches can be a powerful mechanism to support learning, deepen collaborative relationships, and foster identity and agency among participating educators. They further grapple with the challenges educators face implementing improvement approaches given legacy school conditions.
