Session Type: Roundtable Session
This roundtable discussion will highlight factors and the efficacy of civic learning and student voice supports aimed at supporting bilingual, multilingual, and historically minoritized students to participate in civic life. In addition to delving into supports available in school contexts, scholars will also share how museums can be important sites for civic and democratic education alongside their power for cultural representation. Finally, scholars will offer insight into how we might approach remedy and repair for equitable citizenship with intentionality.
