Session Type: Pre-Conference Mentoring Session

Abstract

This preconference includes two sessions. Participants may sign up for one or both. The first session (9am- 12pm), “Scaffolding the Critical Posts,” will be led by Kathryn Strom, Saralyn McKinnon-Crowley, and Bretton Varga. This workshop focuses on supporting audience understanding when communicating about critical posthuman and postfoundational research in publications, job materials, and talks. The second session, “Thinking-With and Researching-With the Critical Posts,” features talks by scholars Maggie MacLure, Elizabeth deFreitas, and Sarah Truman, with discussions following each talk.
