Abstract

In this lecture, Dr. Craig will showcase two exemplars of 'new' approaches to studying preservice and in-service teaching applicable to any research topic and/or method. These exemplars--one that aids in cross-study analysis and the other, which makes practices, inquiry moves, and knowledge more translatable--widen conversations in the teaching and teacher education field and across the disciplines. They uncover hidden research discoveries and knowledge accumulations and add heft to findings that meet the urgent need of policymakers.
