Abstract

Happiness, a key goal of education and human life, has gained global recognition, prompting nations to implement policies enhancing well-being in education. This study compares happiness education policies across eight countries, analyzing trends and regional differences using the “Policy actor-instrument-objective” framework. Findings reveal that cultural and geographical factors significantly influence policy approaches, with nations addressing challenges based on their unique social and historical contexts. To advance global well-being, happiness must be central to future education, requiring collaborative efforts among stakeholders in policy design and implementation.
